The works of local middle and high school students will be showcased at the City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs’ Gallery S.P.A.C.E. from Feb. 4 through 22 during the seventh annual New Beginnings Youth Art Exhibition.
Works on display will focus on the 2008 Savannah Black Heritage Festival theme, “Yesterday’s Story, Today’s Legacy.” The juried exhibition is presented by the Savannah chapter of The Links, Inc., a volunteer organization committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture of African Americans.
The Rocky Horror Show – Savannah, Georgia
Rocky Horror 2007 shattered attendance records and blew Savannah’s mind. So we thought we’d do it again. At the beautiful Lucas Theatre. The crown gem of cult musicals, The Rocky Horror Show is the story of mad scientist transvestite Frank ‘N’ Furter and his associates, who are conducting dangerous experimentation into the creation of human beings. Two young innocent lovers, Brad and Janet, stumble into this world – one where the unexpected is normal and nothing is forbidden.
