The Footlight Players: A Tuna Christmas – Charleston, SC

It’s 24 hours before Christmas and all comic hell is about to break loose as 24 delightfully eccentric characters attempt to cope with seasonal traumas such as a disaster prone little theatre production of A Christmas Carol, and a yard-decorating contest that is being sabotaged by a mysterious Christmas phantom. Bring the whole family and join in the holiday fun! The Footlight Players present A Tuna Christmas by Joe Sears, Jaston Williams, and Ed Howard directed by Mary Cimino.

Ripley’s South Carolina Appreciation Month Means Half Price

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – (December, 2007) – Ripley’s Attractions of Myrtle Beach are featuring a South Carolina Appreciation month throughout December. Everyone showing proof of South Carolina residency through December 31 will receive half price admission to Ripley’s Aquarium, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Ripley’s Moving Theater and Ripley’s Haunted Adventure.

In addition to the notable collection of marine animals, during December the aquarium is hosting the Festival of Trees, a festive holiday celebration which features more than 50 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees. Continuing through the month is the popular special exhibit, Pirates! Predators of the Sea! The aquarium, located at Broadway at the Beach, is open daily at 9 a.m. including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years.

Uptown Saturday Night – St Augustine, Florida

A favorite end-of-the-month event, Uptown Saturday Night takes place from 5pm to 9m the last Saturday of every month in the Uptown San Marco Shopping District, St. Augustine. Galleries, antique stores and unique shops between Ripley’s Museum and the Mission of Nombre de Dios remain open during this special time. Meet the artists, book signings, live music, refreshments and other events contribute to the party-like atmosphere. The Mission of Nombre de Dios provides FREE PARKING for Uptown Saturday Night.
