The fifth-annual Legends on the Green, hosted by the Jaguar Car Club of North Florida, will be held at World Golf Village along the Walk of Champions Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will benefit the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals and will feature classic, contemporary and exotic British cars as well as a judged JCNA Jaguar Concours. Jacksonville, Fla. (April 14, 2008) The Jacksonville Film Festival season will begin in style with a website launch and media kick-off celebration for the public this Friday, April 18, at The Jacksonville Landing.
“Gator Country” radio DJ Amadeus will preside over the evening’s festivities, which will begin promptly at 5:30pm and last until 7:30pm. After the unveiling of the festival’s new website, trailers and short films will be shown from nearly 30 of the films that have been confirmed. In the main courtyard, attendees will be treated to live performances by the bands “Str8 Up” and “Out Of Hand.” Signature “Film Festival Cocktails” will be available, courtesy of Bacardi and Grey Goose.
