Kid Rock is ruling summer ‘08: His smash hit “All Summer Long†— which mashes up the super-familiar riffs of Lynyrd Skynryd’s “Sweet Home Alabama†and Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London†— has charted on rock, country, top 40 and adult-contemporary radio. Powered by the single, his album Rock N Roll Jesus — which came out way back in October 2007 — has been climbing the charts, selling over 1.3 million copies and landing at Number Four in late July.

Last Concert of the Season!
September 15, 2008, Summerville, SC — Summerville D.R.E.A.M. hosts a free community concert featuring Common Ground. The concert will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Hutchinson Square in Historic Downtown Summerville.
Common Ground is one of Charleston’s longest running bluegrass groups blending the traditional sounds of banjo, acoustic guitar and bass with harmonica giving them a unique sound unrivaled in the Lowcountry. The band also features the grassroots harmonies that bluegrass is known for. Covering a multitude of traditional music, Common Ground also compose their own original tunes.
The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited and admission is free. Bring a beach blanket or a lawn chair.
