Concerts in the Plaza in August – St. Augustine, Fl

It is said that The Concerts in the Plaza is the best way to spend a Thursday night in St. Augustine. This free concert series is now in its 18th year.

Concerts in the Plaza brings a variety of music to St. Augustine’s historic downtown all summer long – from Bluegrass and blues, jazz and country, swing and folk, to old time and popular rock. The concerts take place outdoors in the Gazebo in the historic Plaza de la Constitución.

All concerts are free of charge and those attending may wish to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

The Amelia Island Jazz Festival will once again light up the island with a week-long series of events celebrating the diverse all-American art form, jazz. The Museum of Science & History presents Cosmic Concerts – a laser light and music experience under the dome of the Alexander Brest Planetarium!

Cosmic Concerts combine a full-color laser projection system and hundreds of special effects on the planetarium’s 60-foot dome with an 18,000 watt sound system to immerse visitors in a total visual and auditory music experience. The soundtrack for the programs are recorded and played back digitally, allowing for the cleanest, crispest sound possible.

Starry Nights in downtown St Marys, Georgia
