Uptown Saturday Night – St. Augustine, Fl

The popular monthly event, Uptown Saturday Night takes place from 5pm to 9m the last Saturday in the Uptown San Marco Shopping District, St. Augustine. Galleries, antique stores and shops between Ripley’s Museum and the Mission of Nombre de Dios stay open during the unique event. You get the opportunity to meet the artists, listen to live music, enjoy refreshments and other events in a very special, fun-filled atmosphere. Don’t miss this unique St. Augustine event! Barbara Hagerty is a Charleston native, essayist, and poet whose work has appeared in many national, regional, and local publications. The author of two books on the cultural meanings and metaphors inherent in the bags we carry, she has an M.A. in Creative writing from the The Johns Hopkins University. Amember of the Long Table Poets workshop, she is currently at work on a book-length volume of poetry.
