Poetry in St. Augustine, Florida

In the Poetry Zone’ featuring readings, a panel workshop and open mic will be held Saturday, April 26, from 1-5 p.m. at the St. Augustine Main Library, 1960 North Ponce de Leon Blvd. in St. Augustine. The program features poets Robert Batie, Bonny Barry Sanders, Peter Schoeffel and Kay B. Day. Topics covered by the panel will include self and traditional publishing, crafstmanship, and using social media such as blogging to build your platform. The program honoring National Poetry Month is sponsored by the Ancient City Chapter of the Florida Writers Association and the Friends of the Main Library. Admission is free.
