The 135rd edition of “First Friday for Folk Music,” is a monthly showcase of local and touring folk musicians. This time Atlanta’s Ronnda Cadle and the String Poets, Florida duo Friction Farm and Metter, Georgia’s Jean-Paul and Dominique Carton will perform on September 7th.
(SAVANNAH, Georgia) The Coastal Jazz Association has presented the Savannah Jazz Festival twenty-five times before the 2007 event rolls around in late September. During those many years, the organization has always sought to have a balance between creativity and accessibility. This time around, all the stops have been removed as a series of “firsts†dominate this year’s festival.

The Charleston Chamber Players and Charleston House Concerts will be performing in 18th century attire, chamber music selections from the 18th century to the 20th century. All concerts will be hosted in Charleston’s historic Great Hall at the Old Exchange (122 East Bay Street).
