The International Chalk Festival in Beaufort

Nationally-known master chalk artist Lee Jones from Orlando will be featured at the festival on Saturday Nov 1, 2008 . Lee will also conduct a FREE Street Painting Workshop two weeks prior to the festival.

· Students (ages 16+): three scholarships to school of choice

· Community Artist (15+):

· School Teams (elementary & middle/1 teacher & 4 students): three classroom art supply funds

39th Annual Golden Isles Fine Arts & Crafts Festival

Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, from 10am-5pm at St. Simons Village Park at the Casino. This year there will be 120 craftsmen and artists in attendance with several food vendors. Glynn Art will feature a children’s tent with face painting and easels for the children to paint their interpretation of the island.

Ghost Walk in Summerville

On Oct. 25, Historic Downtown Summerville is treated to the Junior Service League of Summerville Ghost Walk. In support, Summerville D.R.E.A.M. (Downtown Restoration, Enhancement and Management) hosts the Harvest Moon Hayride with a spooky concession stand. We have once again expanded our activities to include glow-in-the-dark face painting and other haunted games and activities for children.
