Farmers Market at Marion Square – Charleston, SC

Charleston Farmers Market operates every Saturday from 8:00am until 2:00 pm, from April 12 – December 21, 2008. A special Holiday Magic Market in Historic Charleston takes place during in December.

The Charleston Farmers Market takes place Saturday mornings from 8:00am until 2:00 pm in the Marion Square, between King and Meeting Streets at the edge of Calhoun Street. The beautiful park at Marion Square has long been the center of festivities in Charleston. The Farmers Market comes to life each Saturday morning and offers an abundance of the freshest local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers. Bring the family to the park, enjoy a delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch while enjoying live entertainment.

The Farmers Market also offers an assortment of arts and crafts from talented local artisans. Charleston Farmers Market is produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs and is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry Farmers and Growers.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is the perfect place to buy fresh, locally grown produce while enjoying the afternoon with your loved ones. This family-friendly event has become a gathering place for locals. Plan to spend a couple of hours exploring our treasure trove of fruits, vegetables, flowers, preserves, dips, breads, pies, and numerous other delectable treats. Savor a fresh meal by one of our irresistible food vendors while enjoying live music. Also available for your assistance are the Clemson Extension Master Gardeners. These seasoned volunteers can help solve most gardening dilemmas. You’ll also find community information from the Town of Mount Pleasant and various other non-profit organizations. Make the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market a weekly affair!

(May 13, 2008) – In celebration of World Golf Village’s 10th anniversary, the destination is offering a variety of activities for the public to enjoy.  Guests to World Golf Village can take advantage of activities celebrating the Village’s involvement in the community since its official opening May 19, 1998.

Through Sunday, May 18, the golf courses at World Golf Village, the Slammer & Squire and the King & Bear, will give special offers to the public including various “two-for-one’s” on the current golf rack rate, as well as on fountain drinks and draft beers in the clubhouse restaurants – Legends Grille and Champions Grille.

A Gospel Brunch – Savannah, GA
