27th Annual Savannah Seafood Festival

The best time to visit Savannah is during the Seafood Festival. The festival includes a vintage boat show, ski demonstrations, tons of fresh seafood, games, fun, regional arts and crafts and much more. The festival is free and open to the public.There will be live entertainment featuring headlining zydeco bands. The festival takes place October 31 – November 2 on Historic River Street, downtown Savannah.

Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival

Four Glorious Events. One Incredible Destination.
Home to one of the top four Concours d’Elegance events in the nation, this event is the only one of its kind on the East Coast. With four distinct events, the Motoring Festival offers something for everyone with everything from a vintage track event to a Centennial celebration of the Great Savannah Races of 1908, 1910 and 1911 to a handful of select regional car clubs competing for awards to vintage motorcycles, Pre-WWII trucks and a number of cars from the personal collection of Nicola Bulgari, 2008’s Honorary Chairman, this event is a not to miss! The weekend culminates with the Concours d’Elegance, the centerpiece of the Motoring Festival, with over 150 of the world’s finest vintage automobiles competing for the coveted title of ‘Best of Show.’

Shalom Y’All Jewish Festival in Savannah, Georgia

This is a unique festival in Savannah and has enjoyed almost twenty years of success!

It is held in Savannah’s largest and one of the most charming public areas, Forsyth Park.
Held the last Sunday of each October from 11 am until 4 pm, the festival draws about 10,000 people and provides attendees with a taste of ethnic Jewish cuisine as well as family entertainment ranging from music, dance, magic and puppet shows.

There is not an admission for this event, but once you have smelled the aroma of all the wonderful cuisine, you will want to purchase tickets for food. The tickets are only $1.00 each and there are two ticket booths on the festival grounds. You can use the above ticket special for advanced tickets. Not only will you receive a discount, but you can pick up your tickets before the festival so you won’t have to stand in the ticket line.

Savannah Film Festival, Georgia

A premier eight-day cultural event in beautiful historic downtown Savannah, the festival features more than 50 films selected from more than 600 entries submitted from all over the world. Categories include feature, short, animation, documentary and student film. The screenings represent a variety of independent filmmakers, while an array of workshops, lectures, receptions and special events gives the festival participants an opportunity to meet colleagues active in all areas of film production. Educational benefits for students are provided through the Savannah Film Festival”s student competition as well as the festival student workshops.
