Lots of vendors selling arts & crafts & food at the waterfront. There’s stage entertainment, kids games, pony rides and much more for the whole family. Special fireworks display at dusk to celebrate 40 years of the festival sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.

Take the Water Taxi from St Marys to Fernandina Shrimp Festival
The Taxi departs from St. Marys waterfront at 10.00Am and thereafter on even number hours until last taxi at 6.oo pm. Georgia Cities Week Kickoff – St Marys, Georgia
During the week of April 20-26, St. Marys will join other cities across Georgia in celebrating Georgia Cities Week. This week has been set aside to recognize the many services city governments provide and their contribution to a better quality of life in Georgia. Our theme, “Living it Up Downtown!†pays tribute to the role cities play in contributing to Georgia’s quality of life. The St. Marys celebration will kick off on April 19th with events in the Howard Gilman Waterfront Park with a display of city vehicles and equipment and a city wide clean up. The day will conclude at dusk with an outdoor movie “Duma†at the stage in the park. Come out and enjoy a family friendly day. For more info call 912-882-8111. www.stmarysdda.com
