Lowcountry Bounty Festival – Charleston, SC

Join the education staff to have fun with food at beautiful Seabrook Island Club on October 11, 10am- 6pm. Spend a day enjoying the best of the Lowcountry’s lifestyle: world class cuisine, music, art and photography, lectures, crafts and vendors, local farmer’s market, and much more. Children can create edible jewelry and bean art, churn butter, grind coffee, and more at the Museum’s booth. $20 in advance, $25 at gate. $10 with student id and children under 8 are free.

Free Day at the Museum in the Golden Isles area

Take the family to the museum on October 5th from 2 pm to 6 pm. Spend an afternoon at area museums with special programs and events that will transport visitors to the past by bringing history alive. Participating museums with free admissions include: Howfyl Broadfield Plantation, Moore Methodist Museum, St. Simons Lighthouse, Fort Frederica, Mediterranean House

Fall Festival at Boone Hall – Charleston

An animated talking pumpkin, amusements for the kids, hay rides, kettle corn, animals, and plenty of delicious food await your family at Boone Hall this fall. The Pumpkin Patch opens each year at the beginning of October and runs through the end of the month.
