History Girl Party- 1944 – Charleston, South Carolina
Come to The Charleston Museum to participate in crafts and games relating to a young girls life on the American home front during World War II. You may bring your doll or dress up if you like. Kid Tours- African American Inventors – Charleston, South Carolina

Do you know who invented the stoplight, the potato chip, or the gas mask? Learn about these inventors and other figures in African American history. Kid Tours is a series designed to highlight artifacts from our collection that have fascinated children for years. Kid Tours meet the first Wednesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. and include a craft project or activity.

Visual Arts Jr. Girl Scout Badge – Charleston, South Carolina
The Charleston Museum on January 26, 10 a.m. -12 p.m. Works of art follow rules and patterns. Create your own still life and learn about mixing colors to create a feeling or emotion. A Day in Old Florida at Faver-Dykes State Park – St Augustine, Florida
Experience first hand what life was like in a 16th century Spanish camp or a 17th century Florida trapper trading camp. Hands-on living history activities include pine needle Basketry, indigo dyeing, and a demonstration on the art of mullet knitting. There will be food and beverage available and music and storytelling performers scheduled throughout the day.
