-Visitors invited to interpretive program portraying soldier’s life in 1864-
FERNANDINA BEACH – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Fort Clinch State Park will host a Union Garrison event on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5. The event will feature soldiers in period costume involved in marching drills, cooking and daily activities, allowing visitors to interact with living historians and experience life in the fort as it was in 1864.

The concert on Friday September 5th features the group Out of Hand. This is a free community concert held the First Friday of each month from March through October in the historic downtown on Centre Street between 2nd and Front Streets from 6 to 8 p.m.
Bring a chair, your dancing shoes (just in case) and a smile and song in your heart. The Historic Fernandina Business Association is proud to present SOUNDS ON CENTRE.
Free Kite Workshop at Fort Clinch, Fernandina/Amelia this weekend on August 30th at 10 am. Create a kite and practice your flying skills on the beach. The program will begin with a short introduction to the history and basics of kite flying.This could be a great day out for the whole family.

Get ready for the Amelia Island Jazz Festival with a tribute to the music of Nat “King” Cole by Les de Merle Band. Blue Monday Jazz & Wine Concert takes place on Monday August 25th at 7 pm at Intercoastal Wine Company in historic downtown Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, FL.
