Teddy Bear Affair at the Zoo – Jacksonville, Florida
Saturday, May 10th, join Nemours’ Children’s Clinic at the Zoo between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for the 16th annual Teddy Bear Affair. Kids who bring their injured teddy bears receive free admission and teddy bear check-ups to be performed by Nemours’ skilled staff. There will be prize drawings, giveaways, visits from Jazoo and Smokey the Bear. Radio Disney will also be onsite with music and games.

Tour the Gardens of the Zoo! 2-Part Series Take a guided walking tour with the gardeners that keep us green. Director of Horticulture, Bob Chabot, will start us off with an introduction to the Gardens & Zoo. We will then proceed to the gardens of the month, with each tour led by one of our very own knowledgeable garden staff. Tour 1 *Meet outside the gates by 9:15 for check in* We will admire the lushness of the gardens at Main Camp, stroll down the River of Color, and on to peruse the African garden of Savanna Blooms. Tour size is limited to 30. Pre-registration is required. Cost per tour- members $20, nonmembers $25 -admission to zoo included in class price.

13th Annual Gamble Rogers Festival – St Augustine, Florida
Join the happy crowds at this annual three-day celebration of the music, stories and dance that made Gamble Rogers famous. There will be six stages of continuous music with performances with a special Saturday night performance. Friday night admission is $25 and includes a free fish dinner. An all-day and night Saturday pass is $40. A day-only Saturday pass (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) is $25 and a Saturday evening pass is $25. Admission for Sunday (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) is $25. A full weekend pass is $60 in advance and $75 at the door. Children under 12 are free with a paid adult (excluding Saturday night’s performance, when admission for children is $10).
