On Veteran’s Day weekend, November 10th and 11th, 2007 downtown Fernandina Beach will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery. All day Saturday and Sunday, over 150 artists from across the nation will gather for the 1st Annual Amelia Island Art Festival. The fine art on display will include a broad spectrum of media: copper scultpures, handcrafted fine jewelry, functional and decorative pottery, original paintings, photography and more. Bloodcar Rolls into the San Marco Theatre This Weekend – Jacksonville, Fla.
If you missed Bloodcar at this past year’s festival, The San Marco Theatre is bringing the film in for a short two night run this weekend at 11:55p.m. That’s friday the 26th and the 27th.
Bloodcar played to a sold out audience and the film concerns a time in the not too distant future where gas prices are around 32bux a gallon and this ambitious environmental activist stumbles upon a very green way to propel a vehicle: human blood!
