Spring Arts and Crafts Festival – St Augustine, Florida

Look for something new to please your tastes when artists display their creations at St. Augustine’s Francis Field on Castillo Drive during this two-day festival on Saturday, Mar. 29 – Sunday, Mar. 30. All work included in the Festival will have passed a strict jury review, resulting in 125 artists exhibiting to sell in a variety of media, including oil painting, watercolor, pottery, leather, photography, sculpture, jewelry, wood, textiles, and more.

Experience the sounds of Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales as the music comes alive through the pipes, drums and highland dancers of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards. The Band of the Coldstream Guards has been known for their musical talents since 1742. Now they have teamed up with The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, Scotland’s only Regiment of Cavalry, in an evening of pomp and tradition.

Free Admission to the Lighthouse during the Festival – St Augustine, Florida

16TH ANNUAL LIGHTHOUSE FESTIVAL & MICHELOB ULTRA 5K at  St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museumtakes place on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2008. Bring your family and join the fun when admission to the tower, grounds, and museum is free from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The historic Light Station will offer something for everyone, including local musicians and entertainers throughout the day, special games and crafts for children, food, living history portrayals, pony rides, terrestrial and maritime archaeology activities, contests and much more.
