Bloodcar Rolls into the San Marco Theatre This Weekend – Jacksonville, Fla.

If you missed Bloodcar at this past year’s festival, The San Marco Theatre is bringing the film in for a short two night run this weekend at 11:55p.m. That’s friday the 26th and the 27th.

Bloodcar played to a sold out audience and the film concerns a time in the not too distant future where gas prices are around 32bux a gallon and this ambitious environmental activist stumbles upon a very green way to propel a vehicle: human blood!

Venture into the Keepers’ House and Tower at night, learn about the history of the St. Augustine Light Station, listen to paranormal tales and experience darkness inside the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per adult and $20 per child. Children must be at least 7 years old and 44 inches tall to climb the tower. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Bring the dogs to the dog-gone-friendly Colonial Spanish Quarter from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, Oct. 27, for a barking-good time. Make sure your doggie is dressed in costume for the contest which takes place at 10:30 a.m. If you don’t have a four-legged friend, Goliath and Bebe’s World will be at foot with some adorably-adoptable pets.
9 a.m. to noon, $6.89 for adults, children $4.24, and $5.83 for seniors.

On Nov. 2-4, 2007, this action-packed event at the Jacksonville Beaches will feature a dynamic over-the-ocean sky show highlighted by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels along with other military and civilian flight teams. Other activities include a street festival with Aviation Alley Autograph Sessions, Kiddy Hawk Kids Area, live entertainment, displays, simulators, military apparatus and booths, interactive games and more!
