Steamboats and Stories – Jacksonville, Fla
Walk through the Walter Jones Historical Park on Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 7pm to 9 pm as the Mandarin Museum & Historical Society presents its third annual lantern tour. Hear fascinating stories told by re-enactors portraying author Harriet Beecher Stowe, a trapper’s wife, Civil War soldiers and others. Children are invited to wear costumes. Refreshments provided. Admission is free.

Wander our wild walkways and encounter costumed animal keepers with creepy creatures and candy! This event is geared towards families with children aged 2-11, and is a fun, safe way for the entire family to enjoy Halloween.
