The Players Championship – Ponte Vedra, Florida

THE PLAYERS Championship is one of golf’s biggest events and it’s played annually on the coastline of Northeast Florida at the famed Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, May 5-11. The lush, green rolling hills and steep inclines offer spectacular views of each hole. The tournament begins on Monday with practice rounds. Thursday, the competition heats up as Round 1 of tournament play begins, concluding Sunday with fans gathering around the 18th hole to see who will take home the crystal trophy. Legends on the Green – St. Augustine, Florida

The fifth-annual Legends on the Green, hosted by the Jaguar Car Club of North Florida, will be held at World Golf Village along the Walk of Champions Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will benefit the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals and will feature classic, contemporary and exotic British cars as well as a judged JCNA Jaguar Concours. Lois Simon Story Time – Ponte Vedra

Ms. Simon will be reading the story MAC (The Story of a Happy Apple) at the Cultural Center during Saturday’s Beaches Gallery Tour at 11 a.m.
She will also have copies of her book to sign for the children and families that attend. Following the reading, Ms. Simon will be doing a pastel drawing activity with the children and their parents.

Cultural Center Artist Members will have an open house with display and sales of their original work during this special day.
Enjoy refreshments while viewing our Jay Shoots: Portraits exhibition in our galleries. There will also be art demonstrations in our workshop throughout the day!
