United States Air Force Band Concert – St. Augustine, Fla.

Enjoy a performance that is sure to beat the band. Consisting of eight unique performing ensembles – The Air Force Strings, Airmen of Note, Ceremonial Brass, Concert Band, Max Impact, Diplomats, Silver Wings and Singing Sergeants – The Air Force Band performs a broad variety of musical genres from classical and jazz, to country and rock. This exciting musical performance begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Florida’s newest outdoor arts and cultural venue. Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 at 7 p.m. Admission: Free

Herbs in the Garden Workshop – Palm Coast, Fla.

Women in the Outdoors – St. Augustine, Fla.

Women in the Outdoors seminars presented by the National Wild Turkey Foundation at Gander Mountain, 550 Belz Outlet Blvd., St. Augustine. Participants must be 14 or older. Courses include archery, GPS Basics, Camping 101, ATV, gun ownership and care, Dutch oven cooking and more. The seminar costs $55 and includes a light lunch and breakfast. First Wednesday Art Walk JacksonvilleHighlights for the Art Walk:

MOCA Jacksonville – Kick-off breast cancer awareness month with 26.2 with Donna, The National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer at the October Art Walk. This is the perfect opportunity to get the inaugural commemorative marathon poster, and have it signed by local artist, Kurtis Loftus. Also making an appearance at the Art Walk will be the official marathon VW Beetle Convertible. Don’t forget to purchase a raffle ticket for this one-of-a-kind car. Come out and start the month off taking strides against breast cancer!

Join The Art Center as they celebrate their 1st Anniversary and present artist Marsha Hatchers, “Drawing With Paint”. Enjoy live music by keyboard artist Brian Harris and the Ryan Sinclair Band.

CSX presents the first ever “Keep on Living” Safety Walk at the Florida Theatre. Join them for a reception and be sure to pick up your “Keep on Living” passport at these participating locations: Florida Theatre, MOCA, TTV Architects, and Shelby’s Cafe in the Main Library. Each completed & stamped passport can only be entered for a special giveaway at the Florida Theatre while supplies last. Enjoy live music by Steve Vandergriff.
