Holiday Regatta of Lights – St Augustine, Florida
The HOLIDAY REGATTA of LIGHTS is a spectacular and colorful parade of boats held on the St. Augustine bay front just north of the Bridge of Lions. This is a parade of boats ranging from 15 to 85 feet in length – sailboats, trawlers, shrimp boats and many other vessels aglitter with brilliant lighted displays ranging from patriotic to whimsical. Awards will be made for the best theme, most colorful, best in class, and best overall.
This event reflects the maritime roots of the “Oldest City” and is in keeping with St. Augustine’s historical seaborne image and rich nautical heritage. Beginning at 6 p.m., the boats will light up Matanzas Bay between the Bridge of Lions and Castillo de San Marcos. The Regatta of Lights is sponsored by the St. Augustine Yacht Club.
Sunset/Moonrise River Cruise – St Augustine, Florida
Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway aboard an old fishing boat as the sun sets and the full moon rises. The boat departs from the dock at Cap’s on the Water, 4325 Myrtle Street on North Beach at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 5:30 p.m. and are $10 for adults.

28th Annual Charleston Parade of Boats – Charleston, South Carolina
Get on board with a Lowcountry holiday tradition as this display of lighted and festive boats proceeds from the Cooper River, through the Charleston Harbor and into the Ashley River, culminating in a brilliant fireworks display over the harbor. Champboat Grand Prix Finals – Savannah, GA
The F1-ChampBoat Series is coming to historic Savannah on Nov. 3-4, for the season championship finale of the 2007 ChampBoat Grand Prix Series. This will be the 2nd appearance for the F1-ChampBoat Series in Savannah which hopes to make Savannah the long term season finale stop on the tour.
The F1-ChampBoat Grand Prix Series features F1 boats that reach speeds of 135 miles an hour around multiple pin race circuits and pulling eye-popping, 6G corners in the fastest-turning race vehicles in the world.
“We are delighted to be making our second appearance in Savannah,†said ChampBoat Series President Mike Schriefer of Charlotte, NC. “I’ve been coming down here for a few years and I just love it here, we hope to make this a permanent stop on our championship tour. Fans need to understand this is a world class racing event, so the best of the best will be in Savannah.
