Annual Spring Festival of Houses and Gardens – Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston’s 61st Annual Spring Festival of Houses and Gardens will showcase six decades of the historic city’s accomplishments as a national leader in preservation. The month-long series of house and garden tours, as well as many special ancillary events, will run March 13 – April 12. Held during the peak of the historic port city’s blooming season, the festival offers guests the rare opportunity to explore the private residential interiors and gardens of approximately 150 of America’s most distinctive historic houses in 11 colonial and antebellum neighborhoods.

Camp Carolina Grand Opening Festival & Scout Expo

Join the South Carolina Aquarium on Liberty Square to celebrate the grand opening of the new major exhibit, Camp Carolina. Enjoy a day packed with outdoor activities, fun for the kids and live music on the lawn. Watch as scouts demonstrate their outdoor skills; test your own camping talent on the climbing wall; listen to camping stories while feasting on s’mores. You won’t want to miss a visit inside the Aquarium to see firsthand Camp Carolina’s exciting interactives and animals! The outdoor festival is FREE and open to the public. Water for Life Walk – Charleston, South Carolina

Water Missions International presents the Water for Life Walk at Hazel Parker Playground on Saturday, March 8, at 9:00am. This 3-mile walk is inspired by the experience of women and children who fetch water for their families daily. We encourage walkers to form teams and raise support to bring these families clean water.

9th Annual Shuckin’ in the Park Oyster Roast – Charleston, South Carolina

It is never too early to mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Shuckin’ in the Park oyster roast. There will be activities for the children, including a jump castle. Food tickets can be purchased inside the gate. Entertainment will be by the Custom 4+2 Band featuring beach music, oldies and popular music. Small coolers are allowed, but PLEASE no pets and tickets are NOT redeemable for food.
