It’s 24 hours before Christmas and all comic hell is about to break loose as 24 delightfully eccentric characters attempt to cope with seasonal traumas such as a disaster prone little theatre production of A Christmas Carol, and a yard-decorating contest that is being sabotaged by a mysterious Christmas phantom. Ripley’s South Carolina Appreciation Month Means Half Price

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – (December, 2007) – Ripley’s Attractions of Myrtle Beach are featuring a South Carolina Appreciation month throughout December. Everyone showing proof of South Carolina residency through December 31 will receive half price admission to Ripley’s Aquarium, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Ripley’s Moving Theater and Ripley’s Haunted Adventure.

In addition to the notable collection of marine animals, during December the aquarium is hosting the Festival of Trees, a festive holiday celebration which features more than 50 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees. Continuing through the month is the popular special exhibit, Pirates! Predators of the Sea! The aquarium, located at Broadway at the Beach, is open daily at 9 a.m. including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years.

Food Finds in Charleston – South Carolina

Culinary Tours of Charleston, renowned for its educational and entertaining culinary tours, introduces its newest culinary tour – “Food Finds in Charleston”. Tours will run daily, Monday – Thursday from 10:00 am until Noon.

Led by Amanda Dew Manning, and her team of culinary experts, guests will hit the culinary hot spots in Charleston and taste their way through an amazing array of gourmet foods while getting the scoop on why Charleston is considered one of the hottest culinary destinations in the country. Every tour includes several tasting stops selected from: cooking stores, food markets, chocolatiers and specialty shops.

Tours start at 10:00 a.m. at the Art Institute of Charleston located at 24 N. Market Street in downtown Charleston and accommodate up to 20 people per tour. Tours last for two hours.
