Reggae Night in Charleston, SC on Sept 19th

Heat up September with Reggae from Everett G on Saturday September 19 at Wannamaker County Park in Charleston, SC. The gates open at 7:30 pm and music starts at 8:30 pm. This is a great way to spend a Saturday night enjoying the last days of summer.

“Ever-G” Streete was born in Cash-Hill, Hanover Parish, Jamaica where he was a singer and musician at a very early age. His first recording was with the band “Children of Jah” at Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. Since moving to the U.S. in 1984, Ever-G has recorded 4 albums with his band “The Ruff Kut Crew,” including four veteran musicians and three backup singers, The Irieites.

Reggae lover can also enjoy Caribbean faire from Brieles Lowcountry Café, pizza, Italian ice, and kettle korn and boiled peanuts.

Admission is $8.00 or 5 books of Greenbax. Children 12 and free admission. Annual Gold Passes will be honored.

Little River Oktoberfest, South Carolina

Oktoberfest means lots of good food and good fun, and in Little River, South Carolina, they don’t want to wait for the month of October to roll around – they are kicking off their German celebration already in September. The organizers promise lots of Oktoberfest fun with bratwurst, Beer, authentic German music, The Chicken Dance and The Polka!

Little River is located on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, and is mostly known for its deep-sea fishing, charter boats and commercial fishing. Thousands of visitors come to Little River every year for the festivals. Little River is only a short twenty minutes drive from Myrtle Beach and five minutes from North Myrtle Beach.

The 4th Annual Little River Oktoberfest will be held September 12th and 13th in Little River, SC.

Celebrate Oktoberfest from 9AM. to 6PM. featuring authentic German cuisine prepared by Erna Blome, special musical guests providing live German music and dancing throughout the day.

Thousands of Americans wearing teal to increase awareness about the deadly disease on the first Friday in September–September 4, 2009 — called what cancer does bhad bhabie haveNational Teal Day.
There are lots of ways to show your support, and lots of activities in our area from 5K walks, to a golf tournament in Daytona Beach and even a Butterfly Release in South Carolina. Check out the list below.
