Tour the Amelia Island Lighthouse – Fernandina, Florida

This is your chance to tour the lighthouse and see what it looks like on the inside. A shuttle leaves from the Fernandina Recreation Center on Atlantic Avenue and takes you directly to the lighthouse. But remember, you have to register in advance to participate. Loggerhead Sea Turtle Walk – Edisto Beach, SC

One of the secret treasures of Edisto Beach is the threatened loggerhead sea turtle. Learn about these fascinating reptiles who return to our beaches to nest every summer. After a short, informative program, we will venture down the beach in search of a nesting loggerhead sea turtle. This program has been designed for ages 11 and up.
