Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Association Holiday Cookie Tour – Amelia Island, FL

Then join us for the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Holiday Cookie Tour Saturday, November 22nd 1-5pm. This self-guided, self-paced event will allow you to tour all seven decorated bed and breakfast inns while sampling mouth-watering cookies, and then take the recipes home with you in time for your holiday baking inspiration. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at any one of the seven participating inns, at the Visitors’ Center Depot in Fernandina or online at www.ameliaislandinns.com.

15th Annual Holiday Tour of Bed and Breakfast Inns – St. Augustine, FL

Christmas in Love ...
Tour St. Augustine’s historic Bed and Breakfast Inns, all decorated in Holiday finery. In addition to being able to enjoy each Inn’s dazzling Christmas season displays, tour participants will be able to enjoy taste treats throughout the Holiday Tour: Each Inn unites with one of St. Augustine’s leading restaurants and confectioners, who serve complimentary samples. The tour takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. each day; half of the inns welcome visitors on Saturday, and half on Sunday. Tickets in advance are $35. Proceeds from the Holiday Tour will go to the local charity selected by the St. Augustine Historic Inns.

Summerville Candlelight Christmas Tour of Homes

The sights, sounds, & spirit of Christmas will be on display in six homes in Tea Farm. Wreath & bow making demonstrations, refreshments, & live seasonal music. Tickets will be sold in advance in the Summerville area at Guerin’s Pharmacy, Marigold’s, Sarah’s View, Interiors by Zanell, & Ace Hardware on Trolley Road, & at each home on the tour on 12/07. Wings over Florida Kayak Tour – St. Augustine, FL

Church Tour in Jacksonville, Florida

Take a tour of seven Downtown historic churches, all built prior to 1925 on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 1-5 p.m in Jacksonville, Florida. Tickets can be bought at the Main Library, where the tour starts. Each church will have a guide available who will tell you about the architectural and historical significance of the church. Tour participants can walk the tour, and trolley service is also provided along the route.

The following seven churches are participating:

First Baptist Church
First Presbyterian Church
First United Methodist Church
Historic Mt. Zion AME Church
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral
St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church

Tour begins and ends at the Main Library. Tickets are $5 per person (children 12 and under admitted free) and will go on sale in November. Twenty percent of all ticket sales will benefit the Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition.

Parking:
•Street parking is free
•Free parking is available at First Baptist’s #1 garage on Laura Street between Church and Ashley Streets.
