First Wednesday Art Walk in Jacksonville, Florida, Â has become one of the most popular recurring events, Â and no wonder. Â This is a great monthly monthly event, and the event seems to be growing in popularity. Â It’s a great way to get to experience downtown. Â Get a group of friends together and get out for the evening.
Afterward there are plenty of interesting restaurants, cafes or bars where you can rest your feet and relax. The First Wednesday Art Walk  is a free, self-guided tour of Downtown Jacksonville’s galleries and museums and more.
The event is held every month – rain or shine – from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The artwalk takes place in about 15-block radius in the Downtown area with Hemming Plaza as the focal point. It’s a great opportunity to see some of the creative talent Jacksonville has the offer.

Start at Hemming Plaza where you can pick up your map. This is the focus point of the art walk, and a good place to start exploring.

Street parking is FREE after 6 p.m. and the Downtown Garage on the corner of Adams and Clay offers FREE parking Art Walk night.
