Historic Church Tour

The Historic Church Tour is an annual Downtown holiday tradition in Jacksonville. There is much to see on the tour. Ten historic churches and the Main Library in Downtown Jacksonville participate.

This year it’s the4th Annual Historic Church Tour taking place on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (Church tours and trolleys)

Tour a century of sanctuaries in one afternoon at ten Downtown historic churches. Guides at each church will highlight the architectural and historical significance of the building. The tour begins and ends at the Main Library and visitors may walk or use the complimentary trolley service provided along the tour route.

Tour tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at downtownjacksonville.org. Children 12 and under are admitted at no charge. Tickets will also be sold at the Main Library the day of the event (cash only). Twenty percent of all ticket sales will benefit the Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition.
