Every summer the City of Jacksonville Beach screens free movies at the beach. Â 2011 is the 10th year for the popular Moonlight Movies series series that celebrates the old and new classics of cinema history. Come to Jacksonville Beach with family and friends and enjoy a movie under the stars during four Friday nights in May and June 2011 – Â May 21, May 28, June 4, and June 11.
Friday, May 20 at 9 pm  – Shrek 2
- Friday, May 27 at 9 pm – Spiderman
- Friday, June 3 at 9 pm – A Knight’s Tale
The outdoor free film screening starts at 9 p.m. at the Sea Walk Pavilion.  Arrive early to get the best seats in the house and remember to bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Visit our vendors for pizza, hotdogs, sandwiches, Italian ice, ice cream, cookies, popcorn, and beverages. Or, dine early at one of Jax Beach’s many restaurants and then catch the movie.
For the first time since the Moonlight Movies debuted in 2002, fans helped select the films to be shown at the Sea Walk Pavilion.
