Kids in Florida don’t often experience snow, which is probably one of the reasons Winter Wonderland in St. Augustine has become so popular. Winter Wonderland is open November 26, 2011 – January 1, 2012. Admission to Winter Wonderland is free and the event is open Monday through Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Admission to Winter Wonderland is free, but please note, there are fees with some of the activities. (Here is the price list)
Winter Wonderland favorites include St. Augustine’s ONLY Ice Skating Rink with Nightly Snow Fall! Activities include ice skating rink – there is even an igloo ski lounge (for over 21 only). Excellent addition – you can enjoy an adult beverage while watching y0ur kids skate via the livestream on the big screen TV or from the deck – I’m sure you can even yell instructions to the little ones from there!  There is also an ice slide, a train to ride, an Elf Village, sleigh rides and more. Every night snow will fall over the ice rink and Elf Village – and you can enjoy the Florida Snowfall for free!Â
The Winter Wonderland festival at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre starts on November 19th,2010, and continues through January 2nd, 2011. More than 80,000 people have spent the holiday season with Winter Wonderland and made it part of their holiday tradition.
