Jekyll Island Beach Music Festival takes place August 16 – 18, 2012. This year marks the 30 years of  Beach Music Festival in Jekyll Island. This is said to be the largest beach music festival on the coast in Georgia.  (Is there another one in Georgia?) In any case, this is one of the most popular festivals on Jekyll Island.
The whole thing kicks off already on Thursday with a party, and then there’s beach music all weekend long. The main event is the free Beach Blast Concert at Great Dunes Park on Saturday.
