How about celebrating Independence Day on the beach? Head to beautiful Jekyll Island, Georgia for a special Fourth of July Extravaganza.
This barrier island is one of our favorite places to visit in the summer. Make sure to walk through the historic district and take a look at the so called cottages.
The Fourth of July celebration takes place at the beach deck on Jekyll Island and the festival starts at 5:00 pm. The Jekyll Island July 4 Fireworks Extravaganza features lots of festival food including hot dogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes, and ice cream. There’s also fun things to do such as bounce houses, a reverse bungee, and face painting.

7:30 – 9:30 – Country Music Band, Hayfire
9:30 – Fireworks Finale
