Fiesta Latina

The 6th Annual Fiesta Latina in downtown Savannah, Georgia, takes place on
September 10, 2011.

The festival is presented by the Latin American Services Organization (LASO) and the City of Savannah.  A full day of Latin-American stage performances, traditional food, arts & crafts and children’s activities, representing a broad cross-section of Latin American cultures.

Savannah is turning up the heat when the popular Fiesta Latina returns to Rousakis Plaza. Performances will showcase a variety of Latino cultures through folkloric song and dance, as well as music ranging from salsa to reggaeton.

Many of the 20 different countries that make up Latin America are represented at this event. First and foremost, there will be lots of music. In addition to Latin American music and dance, the festival also offers arts, crafts and traditional food from different countries.
Free and open to the public.
