Tybee Island, Georgia is located Just a short 20 minutes drive east of Savannah, Georgia, through a few miles of wide sky and salt marshes, you’ll find Tybee Island — often called “Savannah’s Beach”.
On this charming island, you’ll find an eclectic mix from salty sailors, eco-friendly nature lovers, city people, artisans and more. On Tybee Island the sunrises are majestic, the marshland peaceful but the parties legendary.
Every year Tybee Island holds a popular Labor Day Beach Bash at the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion. Labor Day is technically the end of the Summer season – it’s time to go back to school, pack up the flip flops and get back into the business suit. At least for those who are not yet calling the coast of Georgia home.
The 4th Annual Labor Day Beach Bash featuring free live entertainment & fireworks – oceanfront! The Labor Day Beach Bash on Tybee Island is scheduled for September 2, 2012 from 7 pm. to 11 pm. Everyone’s favorite beach party band is going to be there – we are of course talking about the Swingin’ Medallions.
