The Fall Festival of Houses and Gardens in Beaufort is a three-day long event featuring on October 26 – 28, 2012 tours of private homes and plantations in the Beaufort National Historic Landmark District and surrounding Lowcountry. Once a year visitors are invited to explore Beaufort from a rare vantage point as a selection of private historic homes an gardens open their doors. Tours are self-paced and do sell out so advance reservations are recommended.
