BBQ and Bluegrass Festival on Labor Day Weekend
The Barbeque and Bluegrass Festival at Boonehall Plantation, Charleston, SC, has become a traditional Labor Day Weekend event. This year the festival takes place on Sunday September 4, 2011, at the beautiful Boonehall Plantation.
Good food and good music belong together, and this is what Boonehall Plantation had in mind when they created this event. BBQ and Bluegrass goes really well together, at least in South Carolina, a state known for it’s BBQ.

Locals and amateurs are invited to show-off their talents in a a barbecue competition in an effort win cash and prizes. There is also a fireworks show as a grande finale to the festival. Tickets for adults are $25 in advance, and 30 at the gate. You can purchase your tickets on the website.
