Now you can experience the magic of Hollywood and the silver screen right here on the coast. This year it’s the 4th year for Charleston International Film Festival taking place April 11 – 15, 2012. This event consists of five whole days and nights of cinema at the American Theater in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, and if you love film, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
The American Theatre is a landmark art-deco style theater in Charleston. Here movies from the Lowcountry, USA, and across the globe, will be screened during the festival. The festival features films from veteran as well as emerging filmmakers and includes shorts, features, documentaries and animations of all genre and subject matter. The event also includes free industry panels, workshops, and exclusive nightly after-parties.
