Discover 20 years of holiday magic by participating in a real Lowcountry tradition – The Holiday Festival of Lights in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a tree mile driving tour at James Island County Park. The park is decorated with over two million shimmering lights and about 600 displays. The Holiday Festival of Lights opens on November 12, 2010 and continues through January 2, 2011.

Shoppe for hand-crafted goodies from local artisans, official 14-kt gold on brass collector series ornaments, toys,
personalized gifts, angelic decorations and many stocking stuffers.
Spoil your sweet tooth at Santa’s Sweet Shoppe, Frosty’s Treats or the Northpole Diner. Make s’mores at the
marshmallow roasting pits, take a photo with Santa and then hop aboard the train for an up-close look at the light
displays. Plus, you’ll enjoy nightly entertainment featuring bands, storytellers and much more. Wander over to Winter
Wonderland where a traditional 18-animal carousel ride whirls you around. Don’t miss the giant 4-by-8 foot holiday card
designs created by local school students as part of the annual holiday art competition.
