Low Country Jazz Festival

On Labor Day Weekend, September 3-5, 2010, the 2nd Annual Low Country Jazz Festival will be held at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and other locations around Charleston, South Carolina.

The Low Country Jazz Festival is quickly becoming a highly anticipated event in the Carolinas attracting festival attendees from North, South Carolina and abroad. This is the second year for the music festival which brings together local and international artists with performances taking place at various local venues as well as the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in Charleston.

Artist confirmed for the main event on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the Performing Arts Center include legendary Contemporary Jazz Band Spyro Gyra; former Tower of Power Sax man and national recording artist, Euge Groove, Former leader of the Funk/Jazz Band “Down To The Bone”, Saxophonist Shilts, and Charleston South Carolina’s own Charlton Singleton.
