One of the best way to spend a summer evening is at HarbourFest. This event has become a signature event during the warmer season at Shelter Cove Harbour.
HarbourFest offers live entertainment every night of the week, and there’s even fireworks. All events at HarbourFest are free and open to the public. HarourFest takes place from April through September,
The main performance comes from Troubadour Shannon Tanner, who has become the shining star of HarbourFest and has been performing here since 1988. Shannon Tanner blends ‘60s with sing-a-longs and his own original songs in an high-energy performance for the whole family. From June 1 thru September 5, Shannon will offer two one-hour shows each night at 6:30 and 8:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
Fireworks is for many the main attraction. HarbourFest has fireworks every Tuesday from June 22 to August 10, 2010.
There is also a special Fourth of July fireworks show. To watch the fireworks from the water, try Outside Hilton Head special “Fireworks Paddle” guided kayak tours during the summer.
