North Myrtle Beach, SC, Â organizes an annual Irish Italian Festival – this year on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Â One can’t help to ask: “why an Irish Italian Festival?” Do the two countries really have anything in common other than the fact they start with the same letter of the alphabet?
In any case it is said that the festival brings about 20,000 people to North Myrtle Beach and this is the 7th Annual Irish Italian International Festival, so obviously it’s a popular event.
The one day rain or shine event begins at 10:00 am and continues until 4:00 pm on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach; featuring food from local restaurants, two stages of live entertainment, street performers, art & craft vendors, and dance groups all surrounding an Irish Italian International theme. Restaurants will compete for the title of Best Entrée, Best Decorated, and Best Dessert.
You are also invited to partake in a friendly competitions for the best homemade spagetti sauce, know that is something I can compete. Being a Talentino I should have a fair chance. (Click here for more information about the Best Spagetti Sauce contest)
