Here is the video from the popular arts market downtown. You can find interesting arts and crafts items, vegetables and fruit, and even great organic coffee!

Savannah is turning up the heat when Fiesta Latina returns to Rousakis Plaza on Saturday June 20th.
Many of the 20 different countries that make up Latin America are represented at this event. First and foremost, there will be lots of music. Live DJ’s and bands will bring salsa, merengüe, cumbia, norteño, bachata, reggaetón and more to the river front. Featured artists include the popular “Serenata Band” from Atlanta, who visited last year, as well as many other local and regional artists. Besides music and dance, the festival also offers arts, crafts and food from different countries.

During the week of April 27 – May 3, 2009 there is free admission at the Telfair Academy.

In 1886 the Telfair family home opened to the public as an art museum and school. It now boasts three diverse sites — the original building, the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences, a National Historic Landmark building; the Owens-Thomas House, also a National Historic Landmark; and the Jepson Center for the Arts, a contemporary building which houses 20th- and 21st-century art.

Visitors can view the elegant nineteenth-century period rooms in this former Telfair family mansion, as well as the exhibitions Reframing a Perceptual Paradigm: A Jerome Meadows, Installation and Gaming Tables for Whist, Chess, and Other Amusements, at no charge.
