Great Southern Tailgate Cookoff in Amelia Island, Florida

The Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (AICVB) has opened the entry process for The First Annual Great Southern Tailgate Cookoff, scheduled for August 27-28. Interested teams can register to participate in the barbeque competition until August 13, with a $50 discount for all entries submitted before June 1.

Jekyll Island Beach Music and BBQ Festival 2009

Life’s a Beach, at least on Jekyll Island in August. This has to be one of our favorite “last-chance-to-enjoy-summer” events. Lots of fun with live music, barbeque, shagging lessons and lots more.

Home Team BBQ on Sullivan’s Island

Home Team BBQ opened a new location on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolinad with a Pre-Opening Celebration.
There was food, and music, and lots of fun.
Friends and family enjoyed a sampling of the expanded menu, complimentary cocktails and music by Blue Plantation.
