Jacksonville International Boat Show 2010

Come to the International Boat Show in Metropolitan Park, April 16 – 18, 2010, to check out the latest in boating, see the latest yachts,  and exciting nautical gear. Participate in one of the many fishing clinics or seminars.

Jacksonville International Boat Show 2010

The Charleston Boat Show to be held January 23-25, 2009

The 29th annual Charleston Boat Show will be held January 23-25, 2009 at the North Charleston Convention Center.

the-charleston-boat-showThis event is the Lowcountry’s biggest boat show and sale featuring the latest models, many offered at discount prices. The region’s leading dealers will be on-site to showcase a multitude of powerboats including: sport cruisers, motor and express yachts, sport fishing boats, center console fishing boats, bass boats, bow riders, deck and aluminum boats, ski and pontoon boats, runabouts, bay boats, shallow water flat skiffs and family cruisers.

Exhibitors will feature an extensive assortment of the latest in marine and fishing products including: fishing tackle and accessories, marine electronics, boat lifts, dock systems, and marine finance and insurance and nautical artwork.

This year’s Show is sure to please as it presents some exciting features including:

  • Boaters “Wine Down” during the new free wine tasting event held on the exhibit floor from 5pm-7pm Friday and Saturday evenings
  • The Kids’ Fishing Clinic presented by Captain Don Dingman of TV’s “Hook the Future.” This educational experience is taught by marine wildlife experts, and will focus on teaching children fishing ethics as well as how to select the right lures and tackle, tie knots and cast nets.. For the adult fishing enthusiasts there will be educational seminars conducted by Captain Dingman as well as local fishing captains. These seminars will cover various fishing related topics and are scheduled Saturday and Sunday of the Show
  • Kids’ Painting Classes presented byYellowfin Gallery, Jump Castle and Face Painting
  • Fishing Simulator presented by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources
  • Electronics Trailer presented by Raymarine
  • Miami Coast Guard Boating Safety Trailer
  • Great selection of food from Lowcountry Boils including Frogmore Stew, pulled pork sandwiches, boiled peanuts and more.

The 2008 Jacksonville Boat Show

The 2008 Jacksonville Boat Show is, February 8-10, 2008 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.Thirty of the region’s leading dealers will be on-site to showcase a multitude of boats featuring over 85 boat lines. Attendees will have the opportunity to see a large variety of marine products and services as well as hundred of boats all under one roof.Boating enthusiasts will agree that this Show has “something for everyone.” Kids can learn from fishing experts during the “Hook the Futures” Kids’ Fishing Clinic. Captain Don Dingman will teach the ethics and basics of fishing. Three thousand dollars worth of prizes will be given away at each clinic. Saturday, February 9: 11 am, 2pm, 4pm; Sunday, February 10; 1pm & 3pm.Jax4kids.com will host the Underwater Kids Pavilion where kids can create “make and take” crafts and other nautical themed games and activities. Visit the Waters Edge Mermaid from 1pm-3pm on Saturday. There will also be a special appearance by some of the Jacksonville Jaguar Cheerleaders from 2pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.Not only can families browse and buy, but they can also enjoy watching a unique celebrity appearance by “Twiggy” the waterskiing squirrel who has appeared on popular movies Anchorman and Dodgeball.On Saturday, February 9, Joe Thames will perform southern rock from 12pm-3pm and Mint Julep Band will perform classic rock tunes from 4pm-7pm.
