Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr. and Santa Claus will light the magnificent the official City of Charleston Christmas Tree of Lights, in Marion Square. Enjoy entertainment by The Company Company, Charleston Community Band, Ashley River Unichorus, Charleston Development Academy, Dance Carolina, plus some wonderful surprises!

Jekyll Island’s Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Jekyll Island’s Christmas Tree Lighting Festival takes place on November 28 4:30pm – 7:30pm, Jekyll Island, Georgia with lots of activities for the whole family.
The event takes place in the Jekyll Island Historic District.Bring the entire family for fun, live entertainment, and holiday cheer!

The festival itself is free, but some activities charge a fee. The parking fee to enter Jekyll Island is $5 per vehicle.

Christmas Tree Lighting and Boat Parade – Savannah, GA

The city of Savannah welcomes the holiday season with a boat parade on Saturday November 28th, 2009. The Savannah River will be filled with lighted boats, holiday decorated boats and more boats! Get into the holiday spirit and come and look for the best lit vessel and pick your favorite. The beautiful parade navigates up the river and then along historic River Street and Rousakis Plaza.

The WTOC Lighting of the Tree Ceremony begins at 6pm in Morrell Park and is followed by the Lighted Flotilla!
