This year it’s the 48th Anniversary for the popular Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival in Historic Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island ,Florida. This year the festival is scheduled for April 29 – May 1, 2011. Now this event is one of the first events we visited when we moved to the coast so it will always be special to me.
