Jazz Fest at St Augustine Beach

This year St Augustine Beach turns fifty and puts on a great party with lots of different events. the Jazz Fest is part of the birthday celebration.

You can enjoy live jazz music on Saturday Sept 26th and Sunday Sept 27th. Local and regional musicians will perform at the Pavilion at the Beach. There will be lots of food, music and most of all fun for the whole family and remember, this is a free concert, so you have no excuses for missing out.

The event takes place At St. Augustine Beach Pier Park, A1A Beach Boulevard, on Saturday from 1 pm to 9 pm, and on Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm St. Augustine Beach, FL

Why not take a trip to the beach for the weekend?
In the summer we are used to enjoying free concerts at the Plaza in St. Augustine, or Music By the Sea. But on Saturday September 26th, and Sunday, September 27th, you can visit the beach to enjoy live jazz music. This year St. Augustine Beach is celebrating it’s birthday with many different events, and this is one of them.

There will be lots of food, music and most of all fun for the whole family. Local and regional jazz musicians will perform at the Pavilion. This is a free concert.

Is Fernadina Farmers Market the third in the US?

Forget voting for your favorite “American Idol”, or Americas most popular dancer in “So You Think You Can Dance”, now there’s a more important question on the world wide web — where is the most popular Farmers Market in the country?

This popularity contest is sponsored by Care2.com and Local Harvest. Over the weekend, Fernandina Farmers Market climbed the list and is now Number Three with 3,744 votes, which even made the local news in Knoxville TN, run out and do a special report from Market Square, Knoxville, their favorite local farmers market, currently in fourth place with 3,070 votes.

5th Annual Fashion Forward: Destination – Jacksonville, Florida

Put your best fashion-foot forward and come to an Up & Cummer event on Friday, September 18th at 7.00 pm.

It’s the 5th Annual Fashion Forward: Destination at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville, Fl. The event is a tribute to the designs of featured local fashion designer Caroline Long who has been designing high-end ready to wear collections for eight years. Her fashions have been displayed in luxury boutiques in the United States, including Kate Spade boutiques in the US and in Asia. Her designs have also been featured in a wide variety of publications, including Lucky Magazine, Palm Beach Illustrated, Luxury Living, Quest, Skirt, Jacksonville Magazine and The Resident, and were seen at the 2005 Emmy Awards Show.

During Destination, fashion from Anomaly, Carla Shoes, Clover, Crave Boutique, Edge City, Jaffi’s, Leila’s, Linda Cunningham, modelcitizen, Olive, Private Gallery, Red Boutique, Reve, Rosie True, Violet, and Wardrobe Therapy will also be on display.
