Holiday Tea with Mrs. Claus – St. Augustine, FL

This tea party is offered to children ages 5-7 and includes a sharing Christmas wish list session, storytelling featuring “The Reindeer Christmas”, an arts and crafts project, a souvenir photograph of Mrs. Claus, a Christmas stocking filled with goodies and of course tea and cookies. Tea party times are 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Stuffed animal companions are welcome. The tea party is $15 per child and includes park admission.

40th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes – St. Augustine, FL

Golden ChristmasEnjoy “Christmas Traditions,” the St. Augustine Garden Club’s annual tour that will showcase homes located around Maria Sanchez Lake, the Matanzas Bay and St. George Street in St. Augustine’s South Historic District. These beautiful historic homes which will be open for the tour represent styles popular in the city and were constructed in 1890, 1905, 1920’s and more recent years. All decorations and floral arrangements throughout the tour will be composed of natural materials designed and hand crafted by members of The Garden Club of St. Augustine. In addition, your ticket includes a delightful tea at the Coastal Community Center, located at 180 Marine Street where quality-crafted items made by Garden Club members will be available for purchase. Tours begin at the Coastal Community Center, from noon to 5 p.m. The Red Train Trolley will provide shuttles from the Center to the homes on the tour. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 day of tour.

Fernandina Beach Lighted Christmas Boat Parade

Canal Boat Lights 001 The 1st Annual Fernandina Beach Lighted Christmas Boat Parade will be held on Saturday evening, December 13, 2008 at the Water Front Marina at the foot of Centre and Ash Streets in downtown Fernandina Beach. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., spectators are invited to bring their chairs to view the lighted parade from along the beautiful waterfront walkway. All boats will be decorated with lights in a Christmas/Holiday theme. Applications will be available online at www.downtownfernandina.com after October 1, 2008. The 1st Annual Fernandina Beach Lighted Christmas Boat Parade is hosted by the Historic Fernandina Business Association.
